On the morning of May 5th, the opening ceremony of Constamp China Manufacturing Base was held in Wujiang Development Zone. Li Wenbin, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Wujiang Development Zone, Deputy Director of the Management Committee, Chen Jianzhong, Deputy District Chief, Itzick Sharir, Chairman of Carfreight Group, Daniel Singer, CEO of Carfreight Group, and General Manager of Constamp China Yishai Nachmani attended the ceremony. Suzhou Constamp Engineering Plastics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Constamp”) Headquarters Carfreight Group was established in 1973. It is one of the world’s three major masterbatch manufacturers and the world’s leading plastic functional masterbatch and compound professional manufacturer. The group has manufacturing plants, research and development and product compatibility centers in China, Israel, Germany, Sweden, Canada, the United States and other places, and its products are sold to Europe, Asia, America, the Middle East and Africa.
The Constamp China manufacturing base project integrates production and R&D. It plans to build 12 production lines, mainly producing PEX and other plastic particles and their engineering plastic products, polyolefin masterbatch and their compounds. After the new plant is put into operation, it will have an annual output of 60,000 tons of functional masterbatch and its compounds.
Li Wenbin said in his speech that in recent years, Wujiang Development Zone has actively seized the opportunities of the integration of the Yangtze River Delta and the strategic superposition of “Taihu Lake Science and Technology Innovation Circle and Wusong River Science and Technology Innovation Belt”, continued to increase project attraction, and accelerated industrial innovation clusters in the digital economy era develop. In 2022, Wujiang Development Zone will historically rise to No. 24 in the country in the comprehensive evaluation of national development zones and No. 5 in the provincial evaluation. Fighting spirit, a more solid style of work, and strive to build a higher level of national development zone.
Li Wenbin emphasized that Constamp entered the Wujiang Development Zone in 1999 and is currently the only company invested by Carfreite Group in China. Looking back on the past, Constamp and Wujiang Development Zone have grown together and created a brilliant development process together. Out of trust in the development zone and recognition of the local business environment, Constamp increased capital to build a 22,000-square-meter Chinese manufacturing base project integrating production and R&D. Wujiang Development Zone will, as always, support the development of foreign-funded enterprises represented by Constamp, spare no effort to provide high-quality services and all-round guarantees for enterprises in the jurisdiction, and strive to be a good “Gold Medal Store Secondary”.
