From the series of press conferences on stabilizing industrial growth held on the 5th, we learned that China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, together with relevant departments, has formulated work plans for stabilizing growth in ten key industries. At present, plans for stabilizing growth in various key industries have been issued and implemented.
According to Tao Qing, director of the Operation Monitoring and Coordination Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, relevant departments have selected steel, non-ferrous metals, petrochemicals, chemicals, building materials, machinery, automobiles, electric power equipment, light industry, and electronic information manufacturing that are large-scale, highly motivating, and highly relevant. Industry and other major manufacturing industries, the total added value accounts for about 70% of the industries above designated size.
"Stabilizing these key industries will basically stabilize the industrial economy." Tao Qing said that from the specific content, the plan adheres to both supply and demand to promote steady growth in production and structural optimization and upgrading of key industries.
In the field of demand, efforts will be made to restore and expand demand in key areas, promote investment, consumption, and exports to work together, and lay a solid foundation for stable industrial growth. Give full play to the role of government investment funds such as the National Manufacturing Transformation and Upgrading Fund and the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Fund to guide and drive social funds to increase investment; promote the start of construction of major projects in key areas such as petrochemicals, integrated circuits, and new displays in an orderly manner, and form physical work as soon as possible Quantity etc.
In the field of supply, we will focus on building a high-quality supply system, stabilizing industries, cultivating enterprises, establishing standards, and stimulating endogenous power for industrial growth. Improve the level of guarantee of key elements, promote the research and development, promotion and application of common technologies; accelerate the cultivation of specialized, special and new "little giants", individual champions and other enterprises; strengthen the systematic layout of standards, etc.
