According to reports, the National Cyber Security Publicity Week event is jointly sponsored by the Central Propaganda Department, the Central Cyberspace Administration of China, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and other departments, and has been held annually since 2014.
Zhuang Rongwen, deputy director of the Central Propaganda Department and director of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission, said at the opening ceremony that day that the cybersecurity situation is becoming increasingly complex and severe. Trade unions at all levels must rely on the digital construction of trade unions to improve trade union service capabilities, further strengthen positive online publicity and guidance, consolidate the trade union's network information foundation, effectively ensure network security, widely gather vitality for network security construction, and demonstrate their strength in building a network power.
The 2023 National Cyber Security Publicity Week has the theme of "Cyber Security for the People, Cyber Security Depends on the People". The main activities include the Cyber Security Expo, Cyber Security Technology Summit Forum, and a series of themed days such as Campus Day, Telecommunications Day, and Rule of Law Day. Activities; at the same time, during each theme day, multiple sub-forums will be held around topics such as cloud computing service security, automotive data security, and network security standards and practices.
Take the Cyber Security Expo as an example. This expo was held in Fuzhou City, with an exhibition area of about 20,000 square meters. It has exhibition areas for critical information infrastructure protection, data security, personal information protection, network security products and services, etc. There are themed exhibition areas such as the National Cyber Security Publicity Week Retrospective Exhibition and the Cyber Security College Student Innovation Funding Program Outstanding Achievements Exhibition.
