Coal market prices in Fujian Province fell steadily in the fifth week of August

According to the monitoring data of the Ministry of Commerce’s important production data monitoring system, the coal market price of monitoring sample enterprises in Fujian Province this week (August 28-September 3, 2023) averaged 1,462.50 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 0.3% . Among them, the market price of anthracite coal was 1,237.50 yuan/ton, down 0.3% from the previous month; the market price of bituminous coal was 1,575.00 yuan/ton, down 0.3% from the previous month. Overall, the coal market prices of sample enterprises monitored in Fujian Province fell steadily last week. At present, coal mines maintain normal production, coal supply is stable, and the peak summer season is coming to an end. Non-electricity enterprises have limited demand, and downstream purchases are mainly based on demand, and market transactions are average. It is expected that coal market prices in Fujian Province may adjust steadily in the future due to changes in supply and demand.
