Material solutions provider Trinseo has announced the launch of a new transparent thermoplastic elastomer for the footwear industry.

The XB-75A CRISTALLO will be launched on the market at the Simac Tanning Tech 2023 exhibition in Milan, Italy, from September 19 to 21, 2023.
It is said that APILON52 XB-75A
CRISTALLO addresses the unique needs of the footwear industry by providing transparent TPU for outsoles and shoe components while using injection molding technology to provide excellent processing properties and fast cycle times.
This new grade also offers high weather resistance, color consistency and superior mechanical properties compared to traditional polyether-based TPUs.
