Autumn grain accounts for three-quarters of the total grain production throughout the year and is the top priority for grain procurement throughout the year. Recent dispatching results show that the area sown for autumn grain this year has increased steadily, and most areas are growing well and are expected to have another bumper harvest. The relevant person in charge of the State Grain and Material Reserves Bureau said that this year’s autumn grain commercial grain and purchase volume will remain at a high level, and the purchase volume in the peak season is expected to be approximately 200 million tons.
The State Administration of Grain and Material Reserves requires that factors such as the production situation of the main autumn grain varieties, market trends, and weather changes must be considered as a whole, and response plans must be studied and formulated in advance, market-oriented acquisitions and policy-based acquisitions must be carefully organized, and timely procurement in qualified areas must be carried out.
