Among them, the non-financial direct investment of Chinese enterprises in the “Belt and Road” countries was 140.37 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.5% (equivalent to US$20.07 billion, a year-on-year increase of 14.9%).
From January to August 2023, the completed turnover of foreign contracted projects was 648.62 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.1%; the value of newly signed contracts was 863.34 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2%. Among them, the turnover of Chinese enterprises in the "Belt and Road" national contracting projects was 529.52 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.8%; the value of newly signed contracts was 725.35 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.6%.
