The THERMOLAST® R RC/UV/AP range combines cutting-edge technology and sustainable practices to offer a range of benefits to the automotive industry. This series contains 15% – 40%
of post-consumer recycled content and an excellent hardness range (50 – 90 Shore A) to meet a variety of application needs.
The RC/UV/AP series has excellent performance in all aspects, such as weather resistance and UV resistance, and the former has successfully passed the 2-year Florida test. This ensures that automotive parts manufactured using this range of materials maintain their integrity and appearance under harsh environmental conditions.
The RC/UV/AP series further highlights its unique features through its excellent lagging performance, especially when lagging with PP and PE. The series works well with multi-component injection molding processes, allowing easy assembly of parts such as roof rail covers, which increases the strength and appearance of the part.
In addition, the series exhibits excellent thermal stability, maintaining its performance attributes even at operating temperatures up to 90°C. This feature ensures the use of THERMOLAST® R
