On the same day, Enhuali announced that the expansion plans of its Jiangyin and Changzhou production bases have been completed, and each has built a new advanced blending production line. Both plants produce sustainable, high-performance materials for markets including automotive, electrical and electronics.
This investment highlights Enhuali’s long-term commitment to the growing Chinese market, especially in the field of new energy vehicles. In recent years, China has been committed to innovation and technological progress and has become a major contributor to global cutting-edge innovation. This is especially true for China’s far-leading electric vehicle industry, which already accounts for 35% of domestic car sales and will continue to grow. Improving living standards and increasing emphasis on environmental protection goals, especially with battery electric vehicles as the core, are driving the Chinese market’s continued rise in demand for high-performance and specialty engineering materials.
The Jiangyin and Changzhou factories have performed well in terms of sustainability, which is highly consistent with Enhuali’s commitment to promoting a sustainable, circular economy and reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions throughout the value chain. To reduce the environmental impact of materials produced at both plants, the company uses efficient blending technology and installs production equipment with lower energy consumption. In addition, the new blending production line at the Jiangyin plant will be powered by 100% renewable energy, partly from external procurement and partly from solar energy produced directly on site.
Materials produced at the newly expanded facility include high-performance specialty materials such as Akulon® PA6/PA66, Arnite® PET/PBT, Arnitel® TPC, Durethan®
PA6/PA66, EcoPaXX® PA410, ForTii® PA4T/PPA, Pocan® PBT and Stanyl® PA46.
