Data recently released by the National Bureau of Statistics show that the prices of various coal types across the country continued to rise in early October. The specific price changes of each coal type are as follows:
The price of anthracite (washed medium block, volatile content ≤8%) is 1,463.8 yuan/ton, an increase of 1.3 tons or 0.1% from the previous issue.
The price of ordinary mixed coal (a mixture of Shanxi pulverized coal and lump coal, with a calorific value of 4,500 kcal) is 771.0 yuan/ton, an increase of 16.8 yuan/ton or 2.2% from the previous issue.
The price of Shanxi Dashan (high-quality blended coal with a calorific value of 5,000 kcal) is 921.3 yuan/ton, an increase of 37.1 yuan/ton or 4.2% from the previous issue.
The price of Shanxi Youmix (high-quality blended coal, calorific value 5,500 kcal) is 1,031.3 yuan/ton, an increase of 37.1 yuan/ton, or 3.7%, from the previous issue.
The price of coking coal (main coking coal, sulfur content <1%) is 2,250.0 yuan/ton, an increase of 33.3 yuan/ton or 1.5% from the previous period.
It can be seen from the above data that in early October, the prices of various coal types across the country continued to rise, but the increase rate narrowed, especially for anthracite and coking coal.
