Reminder:If calcium stearate is used in transparent or light-colored thermoplastics or thermosetting plastics, then It is important to ensure that no undesirable discoloration occurs at normal processing temperatures. Calcium stearate begins to soften when heated at a temperature between 120°C and 130°C, and the viscosity does not change after reaching about 160°C; while this state continues, the material will undergo slight discoloration.
