Xin Gui Glyceryl acid esterMolecular formula C21 H40 O5, relative molecular mass: 372.54, is made from coconut oil, palm kernel oil, litsea cubeba oil and other oils as raw materials. Hydrolysis, fractionation, cutting, esterification of caprylic acid, capric acid and glycerin is obtained, followed by deacidification, dehydration and decolorization.
Physical and chemical properties:
Colorless and odorless, low viscosity transparent liquid, neutral. Easy to mix with ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, chloroform, glycerin and other solvents. It is also soluble in many lipid substances in cosmetics. It is stable at low temperatures and is still transparent below 0oC (freezing point -10oC), with an HLB value of 12.5.
Usage:
1. Widely used in medicines; essences; ice cream-like products; sunscreen oils, creams and lotions, hair modification oils, shampoos, body washes, and skin moisturizing , nutritional and conditioning products.
2. A medium-carbon chain fatty acid ester, which has the characteristics of low freezing point, clear and transparent, and good oxidation stability. It is mainly used for Flavors and fragrances, cold drink products, milk powder, chocolate, children’s food, cosmetics, medical and health care products, emulsifier compounds, soy lecithin phase solvents, etc.
3. Its unique physiological medicinal effects and nutritional value are recognized at home and abroad, and it has great effect on reducing blood lipids, cholesterol, etc. It has good curative effect and no side effects. It is classified as GRAS by the “FDA”.
4. In candy coating, low viscosity oil is needed to obtain the ideal glossy, non-stick vitreous appearance, Xingui Acid glycerides are ideal raw materials. Use it in conjunction with beeswax for a better paint finish. </span
