Description of properties: | The product has a boiling point of 227°C (100.9kPa), a relative density of 1.0710 (20/4°C), and a refractive index 1.4763. The flash point is 99°C. Soluble in water and ethanol. |
Production method: | Obtained by addition of morpholine and ethylene oxide. Pass ethylene oxide gas into morpholine to react, the temperature is controlled below 20°C, after passing through, keep warm for half an hour. Heating and steaming to remove water to the utmost, the residual liquid is distilled under reduced pressure, and the fraction at 122-126°C (1.33kPa) is collected to obtain morpholine ethanol. |
