Description of properties: | The industrial product is light yellow powder. The relative density is 1.51, and the melting point is 123-135°C. Soluble in chloroform, slightly soluble in carbon disulfide, acetone, insoluble in benzene, petroleum ether, ethanol and water. |
Production method: | 1. The accelerator M is reacted with morpholine and sulfur monochloride to prepare the accelerator MDB; 2. Heat 36g of accelerator M, 36g of morpholine, 7g of sulfur and 100ml of isopropanol to 65-70°C, then slowly treat the mixture with 120ml of 1.5mol sodium hypochlorite and stir at 55-65°C After 0.5h, the product goes to the accelerator MDB after washing. 3. Mix and react 100ml of ethanol solution (containing 20.5g of dimorpholine monosulfide) with another 100ml of ethanol solution containing 17g of accelerator M. After 5h, cool and filter the reactant to obtain accelerator MDB. 4. The accelerator NOBS 26g, sulfur 3.2g, ethanol 150ml and morpholine 8.5g were refluxed for 2 hours, and the reactants were cooled and filtered to obtain the accelerator MDB. 5. Reflux morpholine monosulfide, accelerator DM together with morpholine and methanol. After 1 hour, cool and filter the reactant to obtain MDB. |
Uses: | As a scoop vulcanization accelerator for rubber, it can also be used as a vulcanizing agent. When used as an accelerator, its performance in natural rubber is similar to that of accelerator CZ, but its retardation is slightly larger. When used in 54-1 (W) type neoprene, it is combined with the accelerator PZ, which can accelerate the vulcanization speed, have good scorch performance, and excellent physical properties of the product. When used in styrene-butadiene rubber, the scorch performance is poor, and it can be mixed with stearic acid to promote drought scorch and improve the tensile strength. When used as a vulcanizing agent, it is advisable to add a small amount of thiuram or dithiocarbamate drought-promoting agent to increase the speed of sulfuration and improve the aging resistance of the product. The product is easy to disperse in rubber and has almost no pollution. Mainly used in the manufacture of tires, rubber shoes, sponges, industrial products, etc. When used as a vulcanizing agent, use 2.5-5 parts, and add about 1 part of accelerator PZ. When used as an accelerator, the general dosage is 0.4-1.5 parts. |
