SunSir: On August 1 some domestic BDO manufacturers will reduce their production load

Shaanxi Shanhua's 30,000-ton and 100,000-ton BDO plant loads have dropped to 70%, and loose order sales have been suspended, focusing on contracts.

The load of Shaanxi Fusion's 60,000-ton BDO plant dropped to 60% from July 20. BDO is mainly for personal use and contracts, and the spot market will not be offered for the time being.

Xinjiang Meike Phase I 60,000 tons/year and Phase III 100,000 tons/year units are in relatively stable operation, and Phase II 100,000 tons/year units are under maintenance from early July to the end of July. Markor implements long-term contracts on a monthly basis, and there is no spot sales. Markor Chemical will openly bid for 50 tons of BDO on the Henan Energy Platform on July 28, 2023. The starting price is 12,700, accepted and delivered, and the original price is sold.

Xinjiang Tianye's 30,000-ton plant and three sets of 60,000-ton plant currently have a load of 70%, and there is no spot quotation yet.

The BDO unit with a production capacity of 100,000/year in Henan Hemei will replace the catalyst from July 23rd to 29th, and the unit will maintain half-load operation. BDO is mainly supplying contract orders and PTMEG is mainly used for its own use. There is no offer for spot goods yet, and actual orders are negotiated.

The 110,000-ton BDO plant in Kaixiang, Henan Province is in normal operation. It is planned to shut down for maintenance on August 20, which is expected to be one month. Its downstream 100,000 tons/year PBT unit has not yet restarted, and it is planned to restart together with the BDO unit. BDO spot goods will not be offered for the time being, and actual orders will be negotiated.
