On February 20, CNOOC Yancheng's "Green Energy Port" six LNG storage tanks with the largest single-tank capacity in the world completed the concrete pouring of all caps and entered the main construction stage. As the foundation of the storage tank, the caps are an important part of the tank structure. The diameter of each of the six caps poured this time is 100.6 meters, and the total pouring volume is 70,860 cubic meters, which is equivalent to 30 standard Olympic competition swimming pools. capacity.
Ren Jianxun, Deputy Manager of CNOOC Yancheng "Green Energy Port" Project Expansion Department: In view of the low temperature environment in winter, the project team innovated technologies such as temperature control and anti-cracking of large-volume concrete, and rationally arranged temperature control sensors to achieve intelligent and precise temperature control. The pouring area was innovatively adjusted to a 45-degree symmetrical arrangement, which reduced the length of construction joints, effectively prevented cracks, and improved construction quality.
CNOOC Yancheng "Green Energy Port", Jiangsu Binhai Liquefied Natural Gas Receiving Station Project is a key planning project for the construction of the national natural gas production, supply, storage and marketing system and interconnection. A total of 10 large-scale LNG storage tanks have been built. After it is fully put into operation by the end of 2023, the annual processing capacity of LNG can reach 6 million tons.
