China has become a major coke production, consumption and trade country in the world. China's coking technology has entered the world's advanced ranks. Coal gasification mainly produces two types of products: one is synthetic ammonia. The second is coal gasification to produce methanol and downstream products. During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, China's methanol production capacity and output have greatly increased. In 2021, China's apparent consumption of methanol will reach 85.96 million tons, which is nearly twice the increase from the initial period of the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan". After years of development, China's methanol industry has also made some breakthroughs in terms of technology and technology. China has successfully developed a batch of advanced technology and equipment with independent intellectual property rights, which has further improved the level of methanol production technology. In particular, the large-scale methanol plant that uses coal, natural gas, and coke oven gas as raw materials has improved the overall level of China's methanol industry, and some plants have approached or reached the world's advanced level.
