In response to China’s official inclusion of three highly sensitive graphite items in the control list, China’s Ministry of Commerce spokesperson Shu Jueting said on the 26th that this move does not target any specific country or region, nor does it target any specific event.
Recently, the Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs of China issued an announcement to officially include three highly sensitive graphite items in the control list, and to cancel temporary control on five low-sensitive graphite items.
In this regard, Shu Jueting said at a press conference held that day that the Chinese government implements normal adjustments to export controls in accordance with the law, and does not target any specific country or region, nor any specific event.
She said that China is always committed to ensuring the safety and stability of the global industrial and supply chains, and will grant permission if exports comply with relevant regulations.
