As of the end of September, the country’s cumulative installed power generation capacity was approximately 2.79 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 12.3%. Among them, the installed capacity of solar power generation is approximately 520 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 45.3%; the installed capacity of wind power is approximately 400 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 15.1%.
From January to September, the cumulative average utilization of power generation equipment nationwide was 2,716 hours, 83 hours less than the same period last year. Among them, there were 2,367 hours of hydropower, 362 hours less than the same period last year; 1,017 hours of solar power, 45 hours less than the same period last year; 5,724 hours of nuclear power, 148 hours more than the same period last year; 1,665 hours of wind power, 49 hours more than the same period last year. ; Thermal power consumption was 3,344 hours, an increase of 49 hours compared with the same period last year.
From January to September, the country’s major power generation companies completed investment of 553.8 billion yuan in power supply projects, a year-on-year increase of 41.1%. Among them, solar power generation was 222.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 67.8%; nuclear power was 58.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 46.0%; wind power was 138.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 33.4%. The investment in power grid projects was 328.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.2%.
