A reporter learned on August 9 that Lanzhou Petrochemical Company successfully realized the first industrial production of mPE2018, a special material for metallocene packaging film, and mPE3518, a special material for metallocene cast film, with excellent product performance. Lanzhou Petrochemical's metallocene polyethylene family has added a "newcomer". At present, two types of metallocene pipes and film materials and five grades of metallocene polyethylene product series have been initially formed.
Compared with traditional linear low density polyethylene blown plastics, metallocene packaging film special materials and metallocene casting film special materials have high tensile strength, good transparency, strong tear resistance, and good puncture resistance. Features, widely used in food packaging, electronic packaging, industrial component packaging, chemical packaging, daily chemical packaging and other fields, the market prospect is broad.
The industrial production of special materials for metallocene packaging film and special materials for metallocene cast film has overcome the difficulties such as no process parameters for reference, and adopted the method of non-stop and online production for the first time. In the early stage of trial production, Lanzhou Petrochemical Petrochemical Plant formulated a detailed production conversion plan and made various preparations for production conversion. During the production process, technicians paid close attention to the fluctuation of process parameters in the production process, carefully adjusted, precisely optimized the parameters of the polymerization process, and successfully converted production without transition materials for the first time.
