Ashland launches Easy-Wet™ substrate wetting agent portfolio for high-performance industrial coatings. The next generation of industrial coating wetting agents are silicone-free, high-performance oligoalkyl polyether polyols. The product portfolio uses more sustainable technologies to achieve an excellent balance of wetting and low foaming to help the paint film forming process produce defect-free coatings.
As one of Ashland’s seven newly launched technologies, super wetting agent technology aims to provide differentiated and sustainable high-quality products by helping industrial coatings provide high-value performance to industrial applications such as wood, metal, and automobiles. The market offers products such as industrial topcoats, plastic coatings and printing inks.

All products in the range are silicone-free, meet Biodegradability+ requirements and are more sustainable than silicone and fluorocarbon bases, and have one of the lowest VOC levels in the industry.
