● The new silicone flexible skin conductive tape launched by DuPont will provide stable data quality and good patient comfort for the development of biosignal monitoring equipment.
DuPont (NYSE: DD) today announced the launch of DuPont™ Liveo™ Flexible Skin Conductive Tape 1-3150, a silicone thermoset adhesive for electrical biosignal sensing and transmission.
Liveo™ flexible skin conductive tape technology combines the key advantages of silicone technology with conductivity and is designed to be used as a skin dry electrode in biosignal monitoring applications, enabling long-term patient monitoring while ensuring stable data quality and good patient comfort. .
The new conductive tape is designed to be used as a skin interface for electrobiosignal monitoring and meets the requirements of good skin fit, resistance to drying out over time, gentle adhesion and re-adherability with painless removal. The tape can be used in a single electrode for short-term monitoring and is ideally suited for use in a wearable medical patch for long-term monitoring of more than seven days.
“Wearable biosignal monitoring devices can help patients better monitor and track their condition outside of hospital facilities, allowing patients to participate in and manage their own care.” DuPont™ Liveo™
