Segregation of concrete is a phenomenon in which the cohesion between the components of the concrete mixture is insufficient to resist the sinking of the coarse aggregate, and the components of the concrete mixture separate from each other, resulting in uneven internal composition and structure. It usually manifests as the separation of coarse aggregate and mortar from each other, for example, dense particles are deposited at the bottom of the mixture, or the coarse aggregate is separated from the mixture as a whole. ?The reasons for segregation may be improper pouring and vibration, the maximum particle size of the aggregate is too large, the proportion of coarse aggregate is too high, the content of cementitious materials and fine aggregate is low, and the density of coarse aggregate is higher than that of fine aggregate. Too big, or the mixture is too dry or too thin, etc.
Anti-segregation agent is an emergency material developed by us for mixing stations. It has the characteristics of rapid dispersion of water, rapid evaporation of water and other products that deal with moisture and chemical substances. It is mainly used for production due to changes in materials. Emergency treatment for special situations where the control fails to follow up in time, resulting in large concrete slump or concrete segregation that cannot meet construction requirements.
Usable situations:
1. Segregation caused by too many additives
2. Concrete segregation caused by excess water
3. The fine aggregate suddenly becomes coarse and the powder content decreases sharply, resulting in concrete segregation or poor concrete workability.
4. The concrete itself does not segregate, but during concrete construction at the construction site, special parts with small concrete slump are required (for example: sloping roofs, sloped roads, stairs). Our products can also drastically reduce the concrete slump to meet construction requirements. . Not only can concrete be disposed of when it segregates on the construction site, but it can also be disposed of quickly if concrete is found to be segregated in the mixing station. It is quite convenient and fast, which greatly benefits the economy and time efficiency.
Usage method (adding amount): Add about 0.3 to 0.5 kg to 1 cubic meter of concrete. Depending on the slump of the concrete on site, the amount can be adjusted slightly. If the slump is small, you can add a little less. If the temperature is high, you can add a little more appropriately. 2 . Add our product into the concrete according to the dosage, stir the tank truck quickly for 3 to 5 minutes, and the concrete will return to its normal state.
The product can be adjusted according to customer requirements, such as strength deviation, retardant component, water retention component, dispersion performance, etc.
