The average price of coal in Shaanxi Province rose slightly in the second week of October

According to the Ministry of Commerce’s important production data market monitoring system, from October 7 to October 13, the average price of coal in Shaanxi Province was 1,305.8 yuan/ton, an increase of 0.8% month-on-month. Among them: anthracite coal was 1,470.0 yuan/ton, a month-on-month increase of 2.8%; coking coal was 1,676.7 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 0.8%. From the perspective of overall supply and demand, Shaanxi's thermal coal market showed a positive trend in October. Especially in the first and middle of the month, the increase in coal prices was generally greater than the decrease. The impact of security inspections on raw coal production is not significant, but the marginal effect continues, giving support to sellers' sentiment. Frequent news of coal mine shutdowns and rectifications has intensified market sentiment, and intensive maintenance of coal transportation lines in autumn has led to a shortage of high-quality supply and rising coal prices.
