Recently, Mitsui Chemicals announced that it will increase its production capacity of polyurethane dispersions (PUD) to meet the market demand for single-material food packaging, which will be demand is on the rise. Specifically, the Shimizu Plant of Mitsui Chemicals MC Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsui Chemicals, will expand its PUD production facility as follows. The move is expected to roughly double its domestic production capacity.
