We often encounter embarrassing things when using concrete pump trucks. The pump is blocked and the efficiency slows down. What is more serious is that the pump is blocked, which affects the construction. The following seven reasons cause the concrete pump truck to be blocked. Pay attention to these seven points and it will be difficult for the concrete pump truck to block the pump.
1. After the pump truck is started, we first pump an appropriate amount of lubricant or mortar to lubricate the areas in contact with the concrete.
2. During the process of pumping concrete, it must work continuously to ensure that there is enough concrete in the hopper to prevent air inhalation.
3. The pumping pipe joints must be tightly sealed to prevent slurry leakage from the joints, and the pipes must be kept straight.
4. When pumping concrete, the pump truck should be in a slow and uniform state. The pumping speed is slow at first and then fast, and then gradually accelerate. Observe the pressure of the pump truck and the engineering conditions of other systems, etc. Only after the operation is smooth can it work at normal speed
5. Before pumping, you should carefully observe the terrain conditions, choose the best position, and minimize the number of elbows used.
6. When the surrounding temperature is too high, the water in the concrete will easily evaporate quickly, and cooling measures should be taken in time. When the temperature is too low, the fluidity of the concrete will be affected, and insulation measures should be taken.
7. After the pumping work is completed, the pipes cannot be washed directly with water. The pipes must be cleaned with special balls or sand and stones.
