According to the data of the Ministry of Commerce's important means of production market monitoring system: from July 29th to August 4th, judging from the sample data of monitored varieties, the average price of coal in Inner Mongolia was 815.2 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 0.3%. Compared with the same period last year (hereinafter referred to as the year-on-year period), it decreased by 12.1%. Among them, the average price of anthracite No. 2 washed lump coal was 856.43 yuan/ton, a decrease of 0.9% month-on-month, and a year-on-year decrease of 10.7%; 11%; the average price of 1/3 coking coal for coking coal was 903 yuan/ton, a month-on-month increase of 0.3% and a year-on-year decrease of 14.2%.
The Department of Commerce of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region stated that with the continuous advancement of the policy of increasing production and ensuring supply, the production capacity of coal enterprises in major production areas has increased, the amount of imported coal has increased, and the market supply capacity has increased. Demand in the downstream market is weak, and transaction activity is sluggish. Some traders and terminal purchases slowed down, which jointly drove the month-on-month drop in coal prices. It is expected that the coal market will be stable in the near future, and prices will fluctuate.
