Henkel appoints Cai Xuexian as President of Asia Pacific

Henkel appointed Carmen Cai
Chua as President, Asia Pacific, effective July 1, 2023. After taking office, Cai Xuexian will be responsible for Henkel’s business and operations in the dynamic market of Asia Pacific. The appointment also reflects Henkel’s commitment to strengthening leadership, empowering managers with multicultural backgrounds, and continuing to lead business growth in key markets.

In addition to the position of President of Henkel Asia Pacific, on June 1 this year, Cai Xuexian was also appointed as the head of Henkel’s Adhesive Technology Business Unit in Asia Pacific and the global head of Henkel’s Adhesive Technology Mobile and Electronics Business Unit.

Cai Xuexian joined Henkel in 2022 as the global head of the Adhesive Technology Electronics business unit, and made a particularly important contribution to driving Henkel’s innovation and growth in this business area. With his full understanding of the adhesives industry and global perspective, as well as his extensive management experience in China, the United States, Europe, Singapore and Malaysia, Cai Xuexian has unique advantages and will continue to lead Henkel to success in the Asia-Pacific region.
