Wang Xiaofeng, President of China Inorganic Salt Industry Association, said that in recent years, the scale of my country's salt lake industry has continued to grow, and the development of salt lake resources has gradually extended to high-end and high-value; the level of comprehensive resource utilization has been continuously improved, forming a circular economy industrial system; There are a number of leading enterprises in the industry; there are more than 40 types of products related to the salt lake industry, and the output of raw salt, soda ash, magnesium metal, caustic soda and other major products has achieved steady growth. Overall, the construction of the Salt Lake Industrial Base has achieved preliminary results.
However, Wang Xiaofeng also pointed out that there are still many problems in the development of the Salt Lake industry. "At present, the products of the salt lake industry are still mainly developed in the primary stage, the industrial chain is short, the product structure is single, the deep processing is in its infancy, and the heavy chemical industry accounts for more than 90%; and the added value of the products is low, and the degree of waste resource utilization and comprehensive development The level is not high." How to overcome difficulties and build a world-class salt lake industrial base? Wang Xiaofeng believes that, first of all, the standards for "world-class" salt lake industrial bases should be determined. He put forward 10 index requirements, including a substantial increase in the comprehensive utilization rate of mineral resources, the proportion of renewable energy reaching 100%, meeting the national green salt lake construction standards, meeting the construction indicators of potassium salt and lithium salt green factories, and improving the utilization level of all elements in salt lakes. Labor productivity has increased substantially.
Of the 10 indicator requirements proposed by Wang Xiaofeng, 7 are related to green and low-carbon development. Wang Xiaofeng believes that at the government level, top-level design should be strengthened, industry integration should be done well, resource allocation should be optimized, and the Salt Lake Industry Fund should be established. For salt lake development enterprises, he suggested that the technical level of salt lake resources development and utilization should be improved, and the comprehensive strength and international operation level should be improved through technological innovation.
