Recently, the ship "Formosa Plastics No. 13" fully loaded with hydrocarbon-based biodiesel was shipped to Amsterdam, the Netherlands after it was loaded at berth 1# of Rizhao Oil Company in Shandong Port. This is the first domestic order to use "hydrocarbon-based biodiesel" as the name of the product to handle the export of clean energy since the implementation of domestic hydrocarbon-based biodiesel-related industry standards in 2023.

Hydrocarbon-based biodiesel is more similar in structure to petrochemical diesel, and can be added to petrochemical diesel in a larger proportion to reduce carbon emissions by more than 80%.
