Based on our long-term construction experience, we have summarized some key points to pay attention to in the construction of insulation boards.
Precautions for pasting construction of exterior wall insulation boards
1. The width of the insulation board should not be greater than 1200mm, and the height should not be greater than 600mm.
2. The insulation board should be laid and pasted in the horizontal direction starting from the top to bottom. The vertical seams should be staggered row by row by 1/2 the length of the board. They should be staggered and interlocked at the corners, and the corners should be ensured. Verticality. The insulation board should be firmly pasted and should not be loose or hollow.
3. The alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh is provided at the beginning and end of the system for tumbling treatment.
4. Enhancement of door and window openings: When encountering an opening, a piece of 45-degree oblique standard mesh cloth with a length of 300mm and a width of 200mm should be attached to the four corners of the opening to prevent cracking.
5. The thickness of the plastering mortar layer of the thin plastering system should be controlled at: 3~5mm for the ordinary type and 5~7mm for the first layer of reinforced type when painting the finish.
