On November 7, during the Sixth China International Import Expo, ThyssenKrupp Uhde, a sub-brand of ThyssenKrupp, and Basel Polyolefins Germany Co., Ltd., China Coal Shaanxi Yulin Energy and Chemical Co., Ltd., China Coal Development Co., Ltd. have signed a four-party contract to provide licensing, engineering and technical services for low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) units.
China Coal Shaanxi Yulin Energy and Chemical Co., Ltd. will build a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) unit in Yulin, Shaanxi, with an annual production capacity of approximately 250,000 tons. According to the contract, ThyssenKrupp Wood will provide a customized expanded process package, detailed design of some high-pressure process pipelines, and supporting technical services.

China Coal Shaanxi Yulin Energy and Chemical Co., Ltd.
The main construction projects of China Coal Shaanxi Yulin Energy and Chemical Co., Ltd. include: the chemical branch’s first-phase 2.05 million tons/year methanol and 600,000 tons/year polyolefin project, and the second-phase 2.2 million tons/year methanol and 900,000 tons/year polyolefin projects. The project (including three sets of polyolefin and one set of EVA devices) is under construction.
