The fulfillment rate of long-term association coal contracts has continued to increase, and the daily consumption of power plants has remained at a high level.
The improvement in the fundamentals of the coal industry during the peak season is the main reason for the rise in coal prices. With the advent of "peak summer", the daily consumption of power plants in the province continues to increase, and the electricity load of residents is at a high level. Steel, cement, chemical and other non-electricity industries released a small amount of demand, and most of them were rigid demand purchases.
It is expected that the daily consumption of power plants will continue to rise in July and August, the demand for electricity from residents will be relatively strong, and the demand for coal will remain high. However, as the inventory of downstream power plants is significantly higher than that of the same period in previous years, most of them maintain rigid demand purchases, and the room for coal price increases is limited. It is expected that the price of the coal market in the province will show a trend of strong fluctuations in the later period.
