From the date of this announcement, Chinese herbal medicines can be imported through Suifenhe Port and Tongjiang Port. The imported medicinal materials shall comply with relevant regulations such as the Measures for the Administration of Imported Medicinal Materials.
Announcement of the State Food and Drug Administration and the General Administration of Customs on the addition of Suifenhe and Tongjiang ports in Heilongjiang Province as border ports for the import of medicinal materials (No. 87 of 2023)
According to the "Drug Administration Law of the People's Republic of China", with the approval of the State Council, it is agreed to add Suifenhe Port and Tongjiang Port in Heilongjiang Province as border ports for the import of medicinal materials. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:
1. From the date of this announcement, Chinese herbal medicines can be imported through Suifenhe Port and Tongjiang Port. The imported medicinal materials shall comply with relevant regulations such as the Measures for the Administration of Imported Medicinal Materials.
2. The Mudanjiang Market Supervision Administration is the corresponding port drug supervision and management department of Suifenhe Port, which is responsible for the specific work of registration and filing of imported medicinal materials at Suifenhe Port; Jiamusi Market Supervision Administration is the corresponding port drug supervision and management department of Tongjiang Port , responsible for the specific work of registration and filing of imported medicinal materials at Tongjiang Port. From the date of this announcement, the above-mentioned market supervision departments have begun to undertake the filing of imported medicinal materials at Suifenhe and Tongjiang ports, organize port inspections, and conduct supervision and management.
3. The Heilongjiang Provincial Institute for Drug Inspection is the port drug inspection institution corresponding to the Suifenhe and Tongjiang ports. Since the release date of this announcement, it has begun to undertake the port inspection of medicinal materials at Suifenhe and Tongjiang ports.
