During the activity, JA Solar stated that the growth rate of shipments in the second quarter was not obvious compared with the first quarter. Revenue confirmation, the company will increase shipments in the second half of the year accordingly, adopt a more flexible sales strategy, increase sales in the second half of the year, and strive to keep the annual shipment target of 60~65GW unchanged.
Currently, the company has 20GW of n-type cell production capacity, which has been put into production since July. Other battery projects will start production at the end of the third quarter or the beginning of the fourth quarter. It will be the end of the third quarter or the fourth quarter when the TOPCon capacity reaches full production.
In terms of production schedule, JA Solar’s production schedule in July has increased month-on-month. On the one hand, after raw material prices have stabilized, project demand has gradually started, returning to a normal shipment status; on the other hand, the company’s production capacity has been gradually released. , to better meet market customer needs.
The company said that from the perspective of overseas markets, the acceptance of TOPCon is still relatively high. Compared with p-type products, there is a certain premium. The company will continue to increase the promotion of n-type products in the second half of the year.
