The Hainan Provincial Medical Security Bureau stated that only by reducing the inflated prices of medicines and medical consumables through centralized procurement can more high-quality services be provided to patients. Regarding the national centralized procurement of drug varieties and the centralized procurement of pharmaceutical varieties announced by participating provincial alliances, Hainan Province has followed up the first seven batches of 294 types of centralized procurement organized by the state in accordance with the principle of "not picking varieties, all follow-up".
