In the first half of 2023 the national railway will send 777 million tons of thermal coal a year-on-year increase of 13.1%

China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. reported on July 10 that from January to June this year, the national railway sent 1.053 billion tons of coal, a year-on-year increase of 1.6%; of which 777 million tons of thermal coal, a year-on-year increase of 13.1%. As of June 30, 363 railway direct power plants across the country have stored 80.76 million tons of coal, and the number of days that can be consumed has reached 30.6 days, maintaining a relatively high level.

The National Railway Group stated that it will pay close attention to the coal transportation needs of power generation companies in the summer, carefully organize the transportation of thermal coal supply, and provide strong support for the smooth peak summer in various places.
