The relevant person in charge of the National Health and Health Commission stated that in recent years, my country's reproductive service capabilities have been continuously improved, and the health rights and interests of women and children have been effectively protected.

According to the data, by 2022, the national maternal mortality rate will drop to 15.7/100,000, the infant mortality rate will drop to 4.9‰, and the mortality rate of children under 5 years will drop to 6.8‰. best level. Since 2009, my country has promoted the implementation of women's cervical cancer and breast cancer screening projects. At present, the cervical cancer and breast cancer screening projects have covered more than 2,600 counties, districts and cities across the country, and the coverage rate at the county (district) level has exceeded 90%. 180 million free screenings for cervical cancer and nearly 100 million free screenings for breast cancer; the detection rates of AIDS, syphilis, and hepatitis B among pregnant and lying-in women are all above 99%, and the rate of mother-to-child transmission of AIDS has also dropped from 34.8% without intervention to 3%, significantly reducing new infections in children. Strive to reduce the maternal mortality rate in my country to less than 12/100,000 by 2030, and the mortality rate of children under 5 years old to less than 6‰, so as to further achieve high-quality development of maternal and child health.
