Changes in surface ecological conditions are jointly affected by weather, climate and human activities. From the perspective of the impact of weather and climate on the surface ecology, the bulletin assessed the impact of meteorological conditions in 2022 and since 2000.
At the press conference held by the China Meteorological Administration on the same day, Zhang Hengde, deputy director of the National Meteorological Center, introduced that from the perspective of meteorological conditions, the national average ≥0°C accumulated temperature in 2022 will be 6.4% and 1.2% higher than normal and 2021, respectively. , heat conditions are good; 73.2% of the country's regional precipitation is close to normal, and the water and heat matching is generally better than normal.
The communiqué also shows that from 2000 to 2022, 91.9% of the country's regional vegetation ecological quality index will show an upward trend. "The implementation of ecological projects and favorable meteorological conditions have promoted the development of the ecology." Zhang Hengde said that 67% of the regions in the country have an increasing trend in annual precipitation, and 98% of the regions have an increasing trend in annual average temperature. And restoration projects have made full use of favorable climate resources, accelerated the process of vegetation restoration, and promoted the overall increase in vegetation productivity and coverage across the country.
