Retarding high-efficiency water-reducing admixture can prepare high-strength and high-performance concrete.
Retarder, retarded water-reducing admixture and retarded high-efficiency water-reducing admixture should be used for concrete construction where the daily minimum temperature is above 5℃. They should not be used alone for concrete with early strength requirements and steam-cured concrete.
Retarder such as citric acid and potassium sodium tartrate cannot be used alone for lean concrete with low cement content and large water-cement ratio.
