According to reports, Honeycomb Energy's Thailand factory is in charge of the establishment of Honeycomb Energy's wholly-owned subsidiary, Honeycomb Energy Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The company will first focus on meeting the needs of the passenger car market, quickly integrate into the Thai market with high-quality products and services, and provide localized battery supporting services for local customers.
According to the plan, the honeycomb energy module pack factory is transformed and upgraded from a local leased factory in Thailand, with an estimated production capacity of 60,000 sets of module packs per year. According to the needs of local customers, Honeycomb Energy’s Thailand factory has planned two production lines for HEV modules and PHEV/BEV modules + PACK, using self-developed pouch cells and short blade cells, and adopting advanced automatic welding technology and automatic monitoring equipment for production. The factory is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.
