According to data released by the General Administration of Customs, from 2015 to 2022, my country’s refined cotton export volume increased from 13,500 tons to 38,900 tons, with an average annual compound growth rate of 16.32%.

From the perspective of export destination countries, my country’s refined cotton exporting countries mainly include Bangladesh, the United States, Indonesia, Thailand, etc. Among them, the United States has become the country with the largest export volume of refined cotton in my country.

Industry analysts said that due to the low barriers to the refined cotton industry, the number of companies in the market continues to increase, and competition among companies is fierce. As my country’s industry standards are gradually implemented and environmental protection requirements become more stringent, the production capacity structure of the refined cotton industry is gradually upgraded. Some smaller companies that do not meet production standards will be eliminated, and the concentration of the refined cotton market is expected to increase in the future.
