From January to May, industrial enterprises above designated size in Inner Mongolia produced 509 million tons of raw coal, ranking second in the country, accounting for 26.6% of the national raw coal output, an increase of 2.2% year-on-year, driving the national raw coal output to increase by 0.6 percentage points.

Industrial enterprises above designated size in the region produced 21.226 million tons of coke, ranking second in the country, accounting for 10.4% of the country's coke production, a year-on-year increase of 9.4%, driving the national coke production to increase by 0.9 percentage points.
