Yesterday (June 28), the 2023 World New Energy and New Materials Conference was held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, and a number of cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements in new energy and new materials were unveiled.
At the exhibition, the coal-based nano-hydrocarbon fuel, which is the world's first launch, is a new type of efficient and clean coal-based special fuel prepared from coal, water and a small amount of additives after nano-processing. It can greatly reduce the coal consumption of thermal power generation.
Exhibitor Fang Liqiang: In 2022, the total power generation in the country will be 5.42 trillion kWh. If we use our own nano-hydrocarbon fuel, we can save 271 million tons of standard coal (annual).
The world's first fire-fighting robot in the picture can continue to work for half an hour at a high temperature of 1000°C.
In addition, a number of latest cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements in the field of new energy and new materials at home and abroad were released at the conference. Among them, "Liquid Sunshine Technology" integrates multiple technologies of solar power generation, electrolysis of water to produce hydrogen, and combined hydrogenation of carbon dioxide to produce methanol. It is also the world's first process that directly uses solar energy as fuel energy to convert carbon dioxide into methanol.
Li Can, a professor at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences: Because Ordos is very developed in coal chemical industry and rich in solar energy and wind energy resources, this place was chosen. The application demonstration of this project will be extended to many places in the future. Demonstration is of great significance.
