Ningxia coal prices flat in second week of June

According to the market operation monitoring system of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, this week (June 5th to June 11th), the coal price in Ningxia was 983.33 yuan/ton, which was flat. The price of anthracite was 1,200 yuan/ton, down 7.7%. Bituminous coal price 875 yuan / ton, unchanged. Among them, the prices of thermal coal with a calorific value of 5000-5500 kcal and 1/3 of coking coal were 1030 yuan/ton and 720 yuan/ton respectively, both of which were flat. Anthracite coal prices fell slightly. First, the inventory of downstream power plants is too high, and non-electric terminals only maintain rigid demand purchases. Second, steel prices fluctuated on the high side this week. Considering the impact of the off-season and the weather, steel mills were not willing to replenish their inventory, and more purchases were made on demand. According to the comprehensive situation analysis, due to the weakening demand of steel mills and the impact of high temperature, it is expected that the price of coal market in the whole region will fluctuate and decline in the later period.
