In May 2023, China's butadiene imports will be 28,408.71 tons, a month-on-month increase of 67.24%. The average import price was US$1095.44/ton, down 2.95% from the previous month. The top three sources of butadiene imports are South Korea, Malaysia and Iran, accounting for 28.20%, 27.67% and 15.41% respectively.
In May 2023, the total export volume of butadiene in China was 5941.26 tons, a decrease of 50.04% from the previous month. The average export price was US$952.01/ton, a decrease of 13.09% from the previous month. During the month, butadiene was exported to Taiwan and South Korea, accounting for 67.00% and 33.00% respectively.
