On the one hand, the performance of the real estate industry continued to be sluggish, with a 21.2% decrease in the area of new housing construction, slow progress in the issuance of local bonds, and a slowdown in the progress of infrastructure projects, which continued to weaken the support for the steel market demand; on the other hand, the price of raw materials continued to decline. Among them, the comprehensive average prices of construction steel and ordinary plates in the whole region are 3892.36 yuan and 4326.69 yuan per ton respectively.
