According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, in May 2023, China exported 5.47 million tons of steel plates, a year-on-year increase of 0.7%; the cumulative export from January to May was 23.56 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 35.1%.
In May, China exported 1.04 million tons of steel bars, a year-on-year increase of 24.7%; the cumulative export from January to May was 4.58 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 74.1%.
