In the fourth week of May coal prices in Yunnan Province fell slightly month-on-month

According to the Ministry of Commerce's important means of production market monitoring system, this week (May 22-28, 2023), the average price of coal in Yunnan Province was 1202.1 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 4%. Among them, the average price of anthracite was 1,000 yuan/ton, which was flat from the previous month; the average price of steam coal was 852.4 yuan/ton, which was a decrease of 2.6% from the previous month; the average price of coking coal was 1,754 yuan/ton, which was a 6.8% decrease from the previous month. The supply of coal production was sufficient, and the price fell slightly month-on-month. It is expected that in the later period, the market demand for downstream steel products will be weak, and the price may be stable with a decline.
