In order to continuously strengthen the safety risk management and control of major hazard sources of hazardous chemicals, and accurately prevent and control major safety risks, the Shanxi Provincial Emergency Management Department and the Shanxi Provincial Fire and Rescue Corps have deployed and carried out special projects for enterprises with major hazard sources of hazardous chemicals in the province examine. As of the end of May, 193 enterprises with major hazard sources of hazardous chemicals have completed self-inspection, and the entry rate of enterprise self-inspection and major hazard source inspection has reached 100%.
During the enterprise self-examination stage, 193 enterprises found a total of 3,093 hidden dangers, including 2,579 general accident hidden dangers, 74 major accident hidden dangers, 435 general fire hidden dangers, and 5 major fire hidden dangers. As of May 31, the rectification rate of hidden dangers in production enterprises was 55.3%, and the rectification rate of hidden dangers in operating enterprises was 69.5%.
In response to the self-inspection of enterprises, the Emergency Management Department of Shanxi Province will organize cross-checks at the municipal level and spot checks at the provincial level, focusing on urging enterprises to implement rectification of major hidden dangers, strengthening the analysis and management of repeated hidden dangers in enterprises, and the supervision and management of major hidden dangers listing, strengthening the trial Supervise major hazards in production enterprises, increase law enforcement penalties and media exposure.
